Prince Edward Island

We drove south and crossed the Confederation Bridge to reach Prince Edward Island today. The drive across the island to our campground was spectacular with verdant rolling hills and lush farmlands. We saw many red sand potato fields that reminded us of Georgia and Alabama red clay. Tonight we visited Avonlea Village which consisted of antique buildings that are now shops and restaurants.
