Eindrücke aus Kitwe

Drei Wochen durfte ich auch am Leben in Sambia teilnehmen, was nochmal eine andere Erfahrung ist, als nur ein Land zu bereisen. So habe ich an einer Beerdigung teilgenommen, was kein positiver Anlass ist, mir aber die Chance gab, hier eine andere Kultur kennenzulernen. Es gibt einige Parallelen, aber auch viele Unterschiede.
Die letzten Fotos sind auf dem Haus von Thilma und Bill, die ich als Mittelschicht bezeichnen würde. Größte Einschränkung war wohl, dass es nur zweimal am Tag fließendes Wasser gab...

I was also allowed to take part in life in Zambia for three weeks, which is a different experience than just traveling to one country. So I attended a funeral, which is not a positive occasion, but gave me the chance to get to know another culture here. There are some parallels, but also many differences.
