    Day 18: ...on the river

    September 14, 2024 in Sweden ⋅ 🌙 11 °C

After a fairly cool night, fog had settled over the river this morning, making everything wet. It looked great, but I still found it a bit freezy. When the sun broke through, it was nice and warm. Because I wanted to pack up the tent nearly dry, I didn't set off until just before 9. In Kungälv I headed for a canoe club, asked about the lock in Trollhättan and was advised to go along the left bank as there is a lot of industry on the right... Then I filled up my müsli and bought gas for the cooker because if it is so cold maybe I need more hot water. So better that I have enough... It's good that I managed to cover quite a bit of distance today (32km), because then I only need this one overnight stay to get to Trollhättan, hopefully... My boat is safely in a natural harbor. It's not ideal for loading and unloading, but it's Okay..Read more
