Edfu/Kom Ombo/Aswan

Docked in Edfu last night. Later start for breakfast today.
On arising we were already sailing.

Arrived at a port of Edfu. To get to the temple of Horus. (Probably my most favorite temple so far.) The tour group was transported by hack powered by horse.

And in this town the hack has the right of way. Weaving and bobbing the city streets was hilarious.

Again I was overwhelmed by this architectural wonder. Too bad it was defaced by the Christians.
Yet preserved by sand.

Back for the boat for lunch and a whole rest of the day of sailing and relaxation. So far the best views of the Nile so far. Decided to stretch the day and forego the last temple walk. A two cigar afternoon.

Dinner was good then to the Arab entertainment party. Not impressed with the party, came off as a Arab disco, retired early. No cigar tonight.Read more
