Cuenca is the third biggest city in Ecuador and suppost to be the most beautiful. Can confirm that ;) walked through the city and found Café Austria and got Schnitzel since a long time.
Cajas National Park

Today we had a hike in the Cajas National Park. It's the area with the most lakes per square meter worldwide.
Mancora

Spent the days over Christmas in Mancora withsome friends I met during travelling. It was great Christmas :)
Trujillo

Spent new year in the capital of Peru in Lima. Lima with its 9 million peoe feels like a very western or north american city.
Huaraz

Arrived with the Nightbus in Huaraz. Huaraz lies on 3.000 m and is a great spot for hikes.
Laguna Churup

Today I had my first hike to Laguna Churup. Had an amazing weather and went up to 4.450 m. From Huaraz it's a 45 min drive to the entrance. Whole hike took me about 3,5 hours.
Laguna Paron

Unfortunately the weather was not too good and after 3,5 bumpy busride I arrived at Laguna Paron.
Laguna 69

Today I went to Laguna 69. After 3,5 hours busride we started the hike with amazing weather and view. This was just incredible. We got up to 3.600 meter.
Iquitos

Salkantay Trek Day 1

Our 5 days hike started frok Cusco with the bus at 5am to Soryapampa where we had our tent accomodation. There we walked up to Lake Huamantay. Total walk distance 7km, 1:16 h, 630hm.
