Time to relax

Our whale watching tour had to be cancelled due to the weather conditions - Iceland is not for the anxious or control freaks - so we went to the Perlan museum. Not exactly a must, but we found that out too late. The highlight is an ice cave, in which we did have some cold at -15ºC and a nice overview of the whole capital city and the amazing mountains outskirts.
At least we had, in the city center, the best value/meal in Iceland at La Poblana.

The best of our day however was our time at the thermal spa Sky Lagoon
We have decided on it due to the amazing view and the possibility of seeing the sunset. With all the clouds and all, there was no sunset but nonetheless an amazing view. We also went through the 7 steps ritual, that involved a mix of plunge in cold water sauna, cold mist and an amazing salt scrub. After that? Just relax in the hot swimming pool.
