    August 24 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 11 °C

    Ditto (to the morning).

I was up at sparrows fart, on the bike and in the water just before sunrise. Gotta love these artesian baths. Got some amazing photos and videos.

Came back to the vans and by now everyone’s up.

it was left over sausages (those big Flintstone style) and eggs for brekky today.

Dishes done and now we all headed to the bath area.

After soaking for a while and easing our aching bodies it was back for a relaxing afternoon, although us fellas did some more hunting for firewood.

Karen made a wonderful traditional damper for lunch,

    The Nannas Nanna’d

Graham decided he’d like a ride so I unloaded Gail’s bike from the van and we both took off exploring, finding ourselves doing a large circle, past the local tip and back to the vans.

Some of the locals decided to visit us this arvo, which surprisingly didn’t have too much of an impact on the dogs.

Given this was our longest stint off grid, the solar blankets made an appearance today, just to ensure our batteries were at their fighting best.

Pre dinner saw us all take a wander to the water….soak and sooth ourselves and enjoy a quick drink from the bar.

Yet again we enjoyed more Perth pre prepared food……..chicken schnitzels.
