    Today’s post commences earlier than sunrise. Just after we retired last night the rain commenced. It continued most of the night.

    Because of that fact my usual sunrise joy has taken a complete about face. Wet, wet, wet today.

    I had to actually drive the 400m to the public conveniences this morning. There are some thing that just can’t be done in the van 🤔. Still a few die hard people in the baths.

    We’re not sure whether Peter was suffering a complete delusional malfunction, but he swears he witnessed Skippy bound right through the middle of our camp at around 5.30 this morning.

    We had a number of trips to the baths today, both in the rain before it stopped early afternoon then again at beer o’clock after the rain had ceased.

    Peter and Graham kept extremely busy making use of Mother Nature. We had buckets under all awnings catching the crystal clear rain water. They would transfer the buckets to a 20 litre plastic container then poor it into our water tanks.

    It was beautiful sitting by the fire, no wind and all the ground and greenery soaked from the continual drizzle.

    It was a pretty uneventful day with us even resorting to a few first letter category games, such as foods starting with “A”, then “B” etc.

    Some responses really did need to be questioned.

    Left overs and pasta for lunch followed by ribs for dinner.

    Just as Peter had finished cooking the ribs on the open fire…..the rain came down again.

    Graham and I sat and marvelled at the clearing sky that revealed a plethora of stars and planets
