• Day 35 - Muckadilla to Theodore

    August 29 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

Can’t believe how lucky we’ve been with the mornings. Another glorious one.

Whilst everything was great last night, there was nowhere to get a coffee or a bite to eat for brekkie so we headed to Roma….50 odd kms up the road.

What a surprise, it was one of the largest towns we’ve seen so far.

    Great coffee and great pastries.

We had time to do a bit of shopping and sightseeing which resulted in a few purchases, including a couple of rolled pork roasts for tonight’s dinner.

It was yet another day of roller coaster rides but at least we’ve come into some more scenic countryside. This may have been the fact we traversed The Dawson Range.

Only a 1 night stop again so very little to set up. Graham, Peter and I decided to explore the town (on foot). Not much to see on a Saturday afternoon except the local pub. It would have been rude not to have a quiet drink. It would have been even ruder not to purchase a round each.

Meanwhile our phones ran hot as the ladies required guidance on setting up our Webber q’s to cook those pork roasts.

They did very well…,,Another wonderful home cooked meal of roast pork and veges, a couple of games of Kahoots and then Bed.
