Day 36 - Theodore to Kinka Beach Yeppoon

What does one say when the mornings are perfect once again?

Not much to pack away again, so an easy morning. We gathered our remaining supplies of eggs and bacon and headed to the camp kitchen. We’d picked up some fresh rolls yesterday at our stop in Roma.

Some things are getting quite monotonous as I may have previously mentioned…..mother nature and the perfect weather we are having and the quality (or lack there of) of the roads.

There were some pretty “hang on to you hat” sections today once again, however coming down from the Mt Morgan ranges made for a spectacular experience and sight.

Going from red dust, animal excrement and flat plains to fresh sea air and tropical plants is a very welcome change.

While being located 100 metre from the beach we are yet to get our feet wet (at the beach). We parked up, set up and enjoyed the great facilities at this park with a few cold beers (as you might see from the photos).

A short stroll along the main road to the local fish and chip shop was good enough for tonight’s dinner.Read more
