Meseta Lost Day

Day 23/40 possibly? Hard to keep track. Lost in the fog of fatigue. Lost in thought and a long flat walk in a dry landscape. Delighted to find across places remembered from last year’s journey. There’s a lot of familiar faces crossing our path all the time. The most exciting part of the day was the sheep. Relief at reaching our destination each day is palpable. 17km today. Arrived El Burgo Ranero, a pilgrims meal and an afternoon nap which was impossible to wake up from followed. Tired legs. The most fatigue of the whole trip so far.
