Stone circle with a village right in the middle of it. Not as famous or well preserved as Stonehenge, but at least as old and you're able to walk right up to it (completely free). Also nearby SilburyLeggi altro

It was a long hike in from Moreton-in-Marsh (nearest train station, and the buses don't run here on Sundays), and it was at least 2/3 uphill 🙃 But the countryside is absolutely gorgeous and theLeggi altro
Wandered around the town, then did a loop hike through Narcomb Wood and back to Blockley. Found another old door (Chipping Campden church, which is neat and old).
More Cotswolds. Bourton is a lot more touristy than any of the other Cotswold villages I've visited so far, but can't deny it's gorgeous so I guess I can see why lol. Found another neat old door inLeggi altro
Birthplace of Winston Churchill. Rained on me again, so didn't see as much of the gardens as I'd originally planned to, but did add in Woodstock (adjacent old 13th century village).
