UK day 10- To York

Regrettably we left Stone Cottage and headed off to York. A last look at Glenridding and we had a Lakeland icecream because Aaron says it is the best. It was very nice and we got some strange looks as it was only 2 degrees!! Off we went travelling through the Yorkshire Dales, quite beautiful and remote looking. Stunning paddocks and most magnificent stone fences covering many miles. We stopped at Grassington a lovely town in the Dales and had a walk around, quite cold. On we went and drove through Harrogate, a beautiful city with lovely stone houses very pretty. We finally made it to York and got to our accommodation which is a refurbished apartment in a big building that was once a county hospital.もっと詳しく
