    Bye Slovenia, hello Croatia

    September 8, 2018 in Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 28 °C

Sadly we packed all our stuff and were picked up at 930 by Darko, for the 5 hour drive to Split. Once through border control the landscape changed gradually from the lush green forests and fields to drier, more rocky terrain. We arrived in Split around 4pm and found our lovely boat, the Futura. We unpacked and joined everyone for a walking tour of Split with outs fascinating palace and markets. I bought a hat.Read more

    We are sailing!

    September 9, 2018 in Croatia ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

The Futura left Split at 7am heading for Korcula. We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed deck life cruising through blue wayers past rocky islands. Had a swim from the boat before lunch off an island and after a nice lunch arrived at Korcula. We went on a walk of the old walled town and then wandered on our own. We stopped for a drink at a pricey but perfectly positioned bar watching the world go by. Two wines later we ended up at a waterfront restaurant for a seafood dinner. Lovely weather!Read more
