    We arrived at the entrance to the canal at 5.30am but most people were up and on deck to witness the ship's transit all the way through. We arrived at the first set of locks, the Gatun locks, at 7.30am. There was only two feet of clearance on either side of the ship. An engineering marvel. We sailed through the Gatun lake and through more locks until we finally entered the Pacific Ocean after about eight hours. An impressive sight of Panama City in the distance.Leggi altro
