Seit ich meine Operationen an den Knien hinter mir habe, spiele ich mit dem Gedanken mir ein Tattoo stechen zu lassen. Irgendetwas mit Symbolcharakter. Etwas das zeigt, was ich alles hinter mir habe und dass dieser Leidensweg jetzt endgültig abgeschlossen ist.
In den letzten Jahren habe ich immer mal wieder darüber nachgedacht und eine ganz grobe Idee dazu entwickelt. In den Planungen zu unserer Reise ist diese Idee allerdings völlig in den Hintergrund geraten.
Aber wie das Leben so spielt, sind wir in Kambodscha auf Manon und Alexandre getroffen, ein sehr nettes Pärchen aus Paris, das sich auch auf großer Reise befindet. Alex hat irgendwann so ganz nebenbei erwähnt, dass er Tättowierer ist und wie der Zufall will, trägt er (natürlich 🤣) sein komplettes Equipment mit sich herum.
Nach ein paar Absprachen stand relativ schnell fest, dass ich diese Gelegenheit nutzen werde.

Odkąd przeszedłem operację kolana, zastanawiałem się nad zrobieniem sobie tatuażu. Coś symbolicznego. Coś, co pokazuje, co mam za sobą i że ta męka wreszcie się skończyła.
W ciągu ostatnich kilku lat ciągle o tym myślałem i miałem bardzo surowy pomysł. Jednak w planowaniu naszej podróży ten pomysł został całkowicie zepchnięty na dalszy plan.
Ale z biegiem czasu poznaliśmy Manon i Alexandre w Kambodży, bardzo miłą parę z Paryża, którzy również są w długiej podróży. W pewnym momencie Alex od niechcenia wspomniał, że jest tatuatorem i na szczęście (oczywiście 🤣) nosi ze sobą cały swój sprzęt.
Po kilku dyskusjach szybko stało się jasne, że skorzystam z tej okazji.
Wytatuowany w pokoju hotelowym. 😅

But as life goes, we met Manon and Alexandre in Cambodia, a very nice couple from Paris, who are also on a long journey. At some point Alex casually mentioned that he is a tattoo artist and as luck would have it, he (of course 🤣) carries all his equipment around with him.
