On the train

The train from Palermo to Catania starts along the coast and then goes inland along the length of the island. It rises up over the central highland and returns to the southeastern coast where it turns toward Catania.
These are simply some scenery from inland Sicily that caught my eye along the way. Notice in the last picture that there is an orange grove in the foreground. This is a mainly agricultural region.En savoir plus
