Another day in Oviedo

This has been a pretty uneventful and chill day. In the morning we went and did a tour of the main church in Oviedo, which I honestly found super boring - it was a pretty normal looking church and not only has this trip burned me out of seeing churches, but it has also set my standards pretty high. They do have some interesting historical stuff there like a cloth that apparently was over Jesus’s face after he died on the cross. The one in the pictures is a facsimile as the real one is stored in some highly controlled environment but it is actually in the church. After that, Lucas and company and I got some coffee and hung out for a bit before José (Lucas’s uncle) and Ale (his friend) had to get on their train to San Sebastián. After that Lucas had some stuff to do so I went for a walk around town and hung out in the main park (campo San Francisco) for a while. It’s nice having some chill days in the middle of what has been a very busy trip.Leggi altro
