Murchison to Blenheim

Our holiday is rapidly coming to an end. We traveled from Murchison on Thursday, stopping for lunch at St.Arnaud. It's amazing how many hectares around Blenheim are planted in grapes and more vineyards are going in. On Friday we played a lot of golf (just over the fence from the racecourse from where we're staying) but found a few hours in the middle of the day to visit a couple of wineries, have a light lunch and take part in a sampling session.
Today has been a rest day before our ferry crossing tomorrow then home.
Tonight, over dinner, we planned another trip south for 2026 picking up on places and activities we didn't have time for this trip. Next year we're headed to Northland for three weeks. It should be all about beaches and relaxing.
