    Buda castle

    January 4, 2024 in Hungary ⋅ ⛅ 11 °C

Today we went to the buda castle, it was very grand. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but the reason why budapest has its name is because one side of the Danube is called buda and the other pest, we live in pest and today was our first visit of buda. We went later in the day which meant we got to see an awesome sunset and then all the cities lights come on which was beautiful. After that we finally found a place that sold steins of beer! So we enjoyed a lovely one of those too :).Read more

TravelerEnjoy Budapest guys, we stayed there at the end of our river cruise for 3 days. Went to the Baths for a swim along with hundreds of locals, Jewish quarter has some nice little bars. Lots to see.
