Day 1 - take off - ground zero

This might not be as perfect as Charlie's documentation of his trip - but we're giving it a go.

As usual, morning of the flight and bags are being packed (I can think of a few people that would be appalled even by the thought of this😂)

Don't be fooled by the Emirates pyjamas in the corner, those were a gift. The only time I've ever seen one of those luxurious seats is when they painstakingly make you walk through them in order to get to my bucket with a seat belt at the back of the plane.Read more
