June 19-28

We had a wonderful month at Lake Simtustus relaxing, reading (9 books), fishing, eating, drinking, playing cards, and visiting. Kuma was in doggy heaven wandering around our campsite and fetching his floating toy from the lake. Randy caught a 17 1/2 inch rainbow trout and with my expert netting skills we managed to land it in the live well. We enjoyed two scrumptious smoked corned beefs braised in stout beer prepared by Randy for his early birthday celebration. We completed our fishing derby with the boys beating the girls by six fish. Thursday night we had a farewell campfire and sing along at Jim and Kathy's.Leggi altro
