Thursday we headed to Elma, Washington for the first leg of a 6-7 week tour of Washington state. There's not much to do in Elma but it's a good base for exploring the region and a pleasant 10°-15° cooler than Boring.
Friday we visited Olympia's Farmer's Market
http://www.olympiafarmersmarket.com/and the adjoining Port Plaza before taking a self guided tour of the capitol building and grounds.
Sunday we went to Ocean Shores for lunch, took a short walk along the beach and jetty and stopped for a bike ride in Hoquiam on our way home.Read more
