Tuesday we hit the San Luis Obispo Coastal Wine Trail with tastings at Saucelito Canyon and Claiborne & Churchill wineries. We were entertained by Saucelito's official greeter, Gladys the pug, and enjoyed Clairborne's friendly, homey tasting room.http://www.slowine.com/taste/ We ended our day with an outstanding burger at the Cool Cat Cafe in Pismo.
We started Wednesday with pickleball at Meadow Park in SLO, aka San Luis Obispo, then made our contribution to Bubblegum Alley https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/bubblegum-a… before driving to the Madonna Inn, the epitome of kitsch, for some black forest cake. https://www.madonnainn.com/ Next stop Arroyo Grande for a wine tasting at Qupe' & Verdad and lunch at Klondike Pizza.
Thursday we head north on hwy 101 for a week stay at Yanks RV Resort in Greenfield, California, about an hour east of Monterey.Weiterlesen
