We've enjoyed our first stay here at Whaler's Rest. Our site was spacious with electric, water and sewer hook ups. Beach hikes are convenient as Lost Creek State Park is within walking distance.
Four of our mornings were spent playing pickleball at Frank Wade Park in Newport. As always we met many nice people, both locals and visitors.
We took in the local sights including the Historic Bayfront, Nye Beach, Rogue Brewery, Yaquina Head and a drive down to Waldport and Yachats.
It's been wonderful spending the past three weeks at our cool, beautiful Oregon coast. Tomorrow we return to our home base in Boring, Oregon.Lue lisää
