We arrived at Antelope Marina and RV Park after an easy 2.5-hour drive from Flagstaff. The RV park had large, paved sites with plenty of room to maneuver, not to mention beautiful views. We took a complimentary golf cart ride down a very steep and winding road to the marina where we strolled by many luxurious, multimillion-dollar houseboats. https://antelopepointlakepowell.com/
Friday, we hiked Antelope Canyon. What a breathtaking experience!
Randy and I were the only Americans in our group of 12, the rest were Italians. I mentioned that the slot canyons gave me the same awe-inspriring feeling that the cathedrals of Italy gave me. An Italian woman said, these were better because they were nature's masterpiece, not man's.☺️

Next, we went to the Carl Hayden Visitor Center at the Glen Canyon Dam. I always like to go to the historic center of any town we visit. Fun fact: the city of Page was developed for the dam builders in the 1950s and 1960s, so there's no historic city center. 🙁 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Canyon_Dam

Before heading back to camp, we took a short hike to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook. It's definitely worth the time to take in this iconic view. https://horseshoebend.co/
