    Oct 7–22 in the United States ☀️ 63 °F

We spent fifteen glorious days on the Oregon Coast, with near-perfect weather featuring temperatures in the low 60s to low 80s and only one rainy day. We started with eleven nights at Neskowin RV Resort just north of Lincoln City, spending at least every other morning at Dorchester Park playing pickleball. We also spent time at the Farmers Market and Artisan Faire at Salishan, followed by a short hike on their nature trail. We headed north one day to Tillamook and the Blue Heron Cheese Company, then the Tillamook Cheese Factory, before stopping for lunch at the Fish Peddler in Bay City. Last Thursday, we met Kyle for lunch at the Otis Cafe before strolling around Depoe Bay, where we discovered Raven Rocks Gallery (https://ravenrocksgallery.com/). This past Saturday, we visited the Lincoln City Cultural Center, then continued south for a little pickleball in Newport and a stroll at Nye Beach.
On Sunday, we headed north along the Oregon Coast Highway to Seaside RV Resort for a four-night stay. We spent our mornings playing pickleball indoors. For whatever reason, the picklers on the North Coast prefer playing indoors on multiuse gym floors under bad lights instead of outdoors on dedicated courts in the sun.

We took a walk along Broadway, biked the Prom and residential neighborhoods in Seaside, and drove north to Astoria to bike the Riverwalk.

We taste-tested fish and chips along the coast. Here are the results:
1st place: The Bowpicker, Astoria, Oregon (Tuna)
2nd place: The Fish Peddler, Bay City, Oregon (Rockfish)
3rd place: Grizzly Tuna, Seaside, Oregon (Tuna)
4th place: Squatchsami, Lincoln City, Oregon (Cod)

First, second, and third place were old favorites. We decided to give Squatchsami a try as it had great reviews and long lines. Sorry to say we were disappointed, as the fish was greasy and it was the most expensive.
