Xi’an to Chengdu by Bullet Train

This afternoon we boarded the bullet train to Chengdu reaching speeds of over 300 kms per hour. This was such a smooth and comfortable ride and we were there in 2.5 hours. Tina led us on a quick orientation walk past the Tianfu square in the center of the city, pointing out banks, pharmacies, shops where we could get rabbit head or pigs knuckles, the local delicacies, should we wish to try them, as well as souvenir shops.
