Exploring Caye Caulker

We rented bicycles today and explored the North and South islands of Caye Caulker. There are only three modes of transportation on this small island, walking , cycling or driving a golf cart. A ferry takes all three and is the required transportation if you wish to cross the channel between the North and South sides. The North island is just beginning to be developed and we scoped out Bliss Beach which is aptly named. It was a nice relaxing day with a mani and pedicure, lunch on the beach, a stroll on the beach path and a swim at the pool. A delicious way to wind down this little winter getaway. Tonight we will gather for a farewell supper. Lucky us, we have one more day. I hear Bliss Beach calling.Read more
