Bodhnath (Boudha)

The Tibetan quarter of Kathmandu and home to the enormous Bodhnath Stupa which is Asia's largest Stupa! Bodhnath is like a little village. Leo and I ventured into a heavily decorated Gompa and were blessed by two young monks (I was very pleased about this - a special place for Leo's introduction to Buddhism). Later, Leo joined two little Nepali boys who were enthusiastically spinning a massive prayer wheel in its own enclosure - the three little boys were joined by two elderly Tibetan ladies. It was a lovely sight.
