Brea to Lavacolla

This morning it was 8C and clear blue skies. The first couple of kilometres I walked alone, which was quite nice, until I caught up to the wave. A lot more people on the Camino as we near Santiago and more English speaking pilgrims. I took my time today and talked with Americans and Canadians, and a German. So far, I have met a man from New Zealand, people from Ireland, England, Italy, Israel, and South Africa. There have been a lot of Asians on the trail but I’m limited to only greetings with them, and a lot of Spaniards.

There was more road walking. It will be the same tomorrow as I walk into Santiago. Actually, I’m in a suburb of Santiago now, not far from the airport, but still a quaint little town.Read more
