Visited Kyoto for the day. Went up the tower, saw plenty of shrines and temples, saw a park and the market. Then went and had sake!
Nara

Spent the afternoon in Nara. Saw the big Buddha and got chased by wild deer.

Early night in Tokyo

Went for ramen at a place recommended by someone at the hostel, then had a walk. Up early tomorrow to check out a bit of Shinjuku and go to a whisky distillery in the afternoon.
Fish market, rollercoasters and beer

Our trip to the distillery was cancelled as there was a landslide to the west of Tokyo stopping all the trains, so we took a trip to the big fish market in Tokyo and had possibly the best sushi I'veRead more
