Hout Bay, another day of relax

Today wasn’t a very exciting day but it was just what I needed. I worked a bit, had Spanish class, enjoyed the amazing breakfast and views from my doorstep, and eventually went down to the beach for dinner where a black South African friend joined me for a drink and some great conversations. I could ramble on the topics (mostly about the reality of South Africa) but this rather deserves actual conversations than a post. I’m truly thankful for all the friends I made here for sharing their lives and struggles and hopes and dreams with me so openly and let me into their world - this is what made South Africa most special to me. 💛Read more
