Thu Oct 6, 12:00 pm: Did NOT feed birds

After a pretty good night's sleep and a very nice shower, I headed off for a bout of site seeing. I stopped for a bagel and coffee, but it took me a while to find a bench to sit at. I ended up at another Chicago Temple. This one a temple to water engineering.

There was a very stern sign: Do NOT Feed the Birds, so I felt a little bit guilty when some capers fell off my bagel onto the ground. BeforeI knew it, there was a bird coming by picking at everything in front of me. However, I guess that capers do not count as bird food. This bird tried to eat that caper about five times. He would peck at it and then throw it away. Then he'd see it sitting on the ground and try the whole thing all over again. Eventually, he finally gave up.
