Fri Oct 7, 1:00 pm: Buffalo Scenes

After I got all caught up on the travel blog. I decided to take a cab to downtown Buffalo. It's about a 15 minute drive away and there is next nothing by this train station that I arrived at. Ironically, Buffalo has two train stations. This one is the one out in the suburbs. The train from Chicago doesn't go to the other station. Which is too bad because that would have been a much better station to hang out at for hours.

Buffalo was kind of an interesting place. It didn't feel like a city but rather a very large town. A lot of statues and monuments that feel like the sort of thing you find in a small town square.

For future reference, I probably should have just taken my luggage with me when I went downtown and stored it at a hotel near the other train station. Then I could have just boarded the train there and not had to pay me $50 to cab back.Read more
