Around Lightning Ridge

We continued the Coloured Car Door Tours with the Blue Car Door route, which led us to the Opal Mine Adventure Walk. It was interesting to see how the mining process works. Most of the other stops on the tour were just okay—a bottle house, Amigo’s Castle, and a few other spots. Looked like we were going to get hit by a storm, with the skies turning pitch black, but it passed around us. Tomorrow, we’re heading to a farm stay just north of Dubbo.Read more
