Kalbarri National Park - Nature’s Window

Yesterday, while camped at Lucky Bay camp ground (which only just opened up on the weekend) I popped back to the caravan with Brax to grab some supplies when I got talking to another family passing by. They gave me the exciting news that Kalbarri was opening up at 6pm that night! I couldn’t wait to tell the others. Kat called the ranger to confirm this included the National park and were so excited as it meant we could see Nature’s Window and do the Sky Walk.

We got up early this morning and made our way straight to the National Park. We did drive through Kalbarri and see the destruction the cyclone left behind, many houses destroyed and still not repaired. We will head back in and spend the day there tomorrow as it is such a beautiful town that we would like to explore ( plus the kids saw an amazing park on the water they are dying to get to).

The National Park did not disappoint, it was utterly amazing. We probably saved the best for last, the Z Bend Walk, the kids had so much fun navigating this one, up and down ladders and climbing over rocks to make our way down the gorge and to the water.

Brax concord 2 fears today, he went out on the sky walk, all the way to the end 🤗🤗🤗 and he used a pit toilet 😂😂😂.

We have been saying Pete is our lucky charm as since he has arrived a camp ground we have been wanting to go to has opened up and then Kalbarri National Park opened up! Pete can come and stay anytime 😊Weiterlesen
