The weather started out pretty miserable today, a few massive down pours, but by 11.30 the sun was out and the boys had their lines rigged up and ready to hit the beach for a fish. Unfortunately, no fish today but the kids had a great time digging extremely deep holes, we even lost Lachlan’s head into one at one stage.

Once we got back to camp we treated Pete to one of our seafood cook ups. We got out the last of the Perlubie squid and cuttle fish and battered up some of the snapper from Sandy Cape. It was delicious 🤤.

Aunty Kat decided she would take over teaching the kids today and gave them a science lesson, she taught them how to make a sparkler bomb. After dinner we all went up into the dunes to light it up. The kids thought it was the best thing ever and Lyla kept asking if we could do it again. Apparently next time we are going to use a tennis ball as they shoot into the air ( we need to go shopping for supplies).
