An early start to see the dolphin feeding at Monkey Mia today. We were lucky as a lovely lady we met at Sandy Cape had started volunteering at the dolphin feeding and chose Lyla to feed a dolphin. Lyla was a bit scared so Lachlan and Brax went down in the water with her. How lucky were they! Out of 250 people, they got to go down and feed a dolphin.

After the dolphin feeding Kat, Cassie and I chilled out by the pool with the kids while the guys went out chasing crabs and fish but were harassed by sharks and a big sea turtle. Then we hit up the beach and hired some peddle boats, Sups and kayaks. We finished the arvo off with cocktails by the water and ice creams for the kids.

The guys did not catch any fish but they saw some big tiger sharks and turtles. Now they are keen to catch some sharks!

The caravan park at Monkey Mia has such a relaxed resort feel to it, we are keen to try and head back there for a few nights after our Steep Point adventures.
