Such and informative but engaging tour, the boys learnt so much. They were so eager to get here and kept asking when we could leave Shell Beach to go to the Aquarium, they are obsessed with sharks.

I was especially proud of Lachlan who at each point in the tour when given the opportunity to ask a question asked the tour guide a question. This showed me that he was listening to the information, processing it and thinking about what else he wanted to know and even more he was confident enough in a group that contained strangers to speak up and ask his questions on his own without any help from either Brett or I. That really is a big accomplishment for him.

Lyla loved the aquarium as well she was so excited by all the different sea creatures she could stop not talking, she is at that age where she does not stop asking questions. She is so inquisitive. Her favourite was the Nemo tank. It took her a while to realise we could all see her through the other side of the tank, her expressions were hysterical. I love the innocence of children of not knowing or caring (😂😂) about what is happing around them. As the tour guide spoke Lyla continued to call out from behind the fish tank ( we were all on the other side of the tank) about the nemo fish
and smoosh her face against the tank. Kat and I could not control our laughter.

The last pool was what the boys were waiting for, shark feeding! They got to see a few different sharks, but the Tiger shark was the one which came up and ate the fish at our feeding and the boys were stocked.

The boys used the rest of their Easter money to buy themselves a special shark cuddly toy.
