Waiting to Board the Ferry to Roscoff

The cabin is small but comfortable. We are looking forward to a drink and a good night's sleep.
Just arrived in Roscoff and had our first experience of driving on the wrong side. Traffic was very quiet and satnav guided us to the accommodation, so no problems so far.

The owner did not speak any English so good job Hazel understands the lingo. Flat is on the ground floor and a reasonable size and has everything we need i.e kettle, toaster, fridge, dishwasher etc..
Lots of eating places in Riscoff. Particularly ones specialising in Crepes, the local speciality. We decided on a fish lunch in the shade as it was very hot in the sun although windy (which Roscoff isLeia mais
We ventured out into Roscoff to look around the town. It turns out to be a lovely harbour surrounded by granite House's and although it's a Saturday it seemed very quiet, well compared with similarLeia mais

Today we took a boat trip from Roscoff to the island of Batz, a short journey of approximately 20 Minutes. A beautiful island with only a 1000 inhabitants and lots of secluded white sandy beaches.

We just can't believe how quiet it is here. Even the supermarket was deserted.
Today we did our first adventure in the car to the town of Morlaix. Unfortunately the town was a disappointment even through we paid for a mini train ride around it. There were some interesting oldLeia mais
