At 4:30PM yesterday we were informed our next stop for today is cancelled. No Kangaroo Island today. Not due to the weather, but due to the fact that the bottom of the ship has to be cleaned beforeWeiterlesen
Two to TravelBummer. This happened to Regatta … I think in 2022 .. they lost a couple of days for this cleaning requirement. It’s why we added Kangaroo Island as a just in case to our rod trip. Figured we would cancel it if Regatta managed to get ashore. It didn’t, so now we will take the ferry when we get to that portion of our trip.

Two to TravelAt least the cleaning on your ship is so you can go to New Zealand. The cleaning on Regatta was done on the circumnavigation, filled with pax who were not going on to New Zealand. I would have been royally pis***d had it happened to us, not just upset.
