Day 7: Transfer from Cusco to Lima

Our shuttle from the hotel to CUZ airport was scheduled at 8 am for a 11 am flight on JetSmart. We had an early breakfast at 7 am. The Sharma’s were on a flight an hour later. They The whole process was seamless and we were at the airport long before the scheduled flight time. We all grabbed a coffee and then proceeded to board our respective flights. Even though we were on different flights we both arrived at the hotel, Ibis MiraFlores around the same time.
After check in we dropped our bags in the room and proceeded to find a place for lunch. We walked around the corner and found an amazing Italian restaurant named La Bodega Trattoria. After lunch Manisha and Lata went to the Inka Market while Suresh and I headed back to the hotel. Meanwhile we booked a panoramic bus tour of the city ending with a visit to the Water Magic show circuit in the park, and this was outstanding. It is a large screen using the water fountains to highlight Peru and its history with amazing background music. After that we returned to the hotel and called it a night due to exhaustion.Leggi altro
