Birdlip to Painswick

We walked 9.5 miles today past an ancient Roman villa and a Neolithic fortress’ ruin. It was mostly forest today. Beautiful preserves for birch trees and butterflies. We’re staying at the Falcon Inn tonight. It’s on a street of rows of historic buildings and across the street from a large church with a garden of well manicured Yew Trees.

Did some blocking on our sore feet with Karen, Cassie’s friend over WhatsApp video feed. That felt great!! Rested and ready to head down to dinner where we are staying.En savoir plus
