North Nibley to Wotten Under Edge

I know the names, right! We left the Black Horse this morning and immediately faced an up hill climb to a monument. We climbed the tower stairs and saw some amazing 360 degree views. Then we had a short walk in the rain to a nice cafe called The Edge. Took us a little over an hour to walk from North Nimbly to Wotten Under Edge and we were able to check into The Swan hotel early. Good thing too. Cassie caught a bad head cold and needed a good nap. We’ll see if she feels better when she wakes and head to a crafting space only 3 min. walk from the hotel. It’s a good day not to be on the path as if has been dumping (tipping) rain off and on pretty steadily.
