Wotten Under Edge to Old Sodbury

We made it over 13 miles in 5.5 hours today to arrive in Old Sodsbury at the Windylands B&B at around 2:00 pm. The nice proprietors allowed us to check in early and we got cleaned up to go out to dinner at the Cross Hands Hotel in town.

We slogged through many puddles and mud today on the trail with some good rain showers, but finished up with the sun peeping through and allowing us to take off the rain ponchos.

With lots of rain come babbling brooks and waterfalls, and flushes of mushrooms…..and a blister.Read more
