The Porto cathedral was originally built in Romanesque style in the 12th century, but added to and embellished in a variety of styles over the centuries. I was amused that the lower levels of the cloister had religious ornamentation, but the top level had a rather salacious tile mural of Ovid's Metamorphoses.
