Warung Makan Bu Rus

What a funky little eatery in Ubud just around the corner from where we are staying! The papaya juice was to die for and they served their food under these colourful hats! There was a loud, large table of indecisive, confusing, difficult Beijing diners sitting next to us - which made the kids realize that Mommy is actually relatively sane! And also gave everyone a foretaste of what is to come in China. We hope to make it back again at some point tomorrow, as not only was the ambience cool (cue statue with sunglasses and flower in “hair”) but the food was actually delicious as well!

PS: Made it back the next night and their avocado juice (served with a swirl of chocolate sauce) is awesome!! The kids also devoured the tender BBQ pork ribs.Read more
