    Beaches from Bondi to Coogee

    If there is a heaven, in the summertime the beaches would be covered with the powder sand of Bondi Beach! Meg reflected that it actually felt a bit like walking in the snow - one step forward, half a step back. A bit frustrating at first - until you give in and accept that the objective is not to get anywhere quickly - the very simplicity of the journey is meant to be savoured and enjoyed.

    We actually walked from Coogee up to Bondi - and almost stopped short at Bronte. So glad that we pushed on. After Coogee, then Bronte, then Tamarama, we were suffering a bit from beach fatigue and were not sure what novelty Bondi might have to offer. When we turned the last corner and got our first look at Bondi from a distance, we were just blown away: the distinctive crescent, the sheer expanse, the rolling waves, the powder sand - just amazing, just relaxing, just as nature meant for it to be.
