Gatwick to Southampton

On our way by train to Southampton after being rescued by a friendly Aussie couple. They got us to Chichester after bad advice from a ticket agent. All is well except for the usual jet lag.
Judy LyterGlad you are there safe and sound, if weary. I also had the experience of getting on a wrong train in London, trying to head to Hampton Court Palace. Luckily, those goofs are easy to fix by hopping off. The right train usually comes along pretty soon. You have spent time in Southampton before. Are you finding new things to do or visiting old favorites? I looked up Chichester -- historic and posh, with some of the most unaffordable housing in England!
ReisendeWe visited old favorites since time was short and we were jet lagged. Nap for 2 hours and slept very soundly that night feeling fine now!
